The meaning behind the name, Visual History

When I began my quest for the perfect serum, I knew I wanted to create a chemical-free, plant-based face serum. I carefully researched which plants had properties beneficial for the skin. I desired a product that could combat dry and flaky skin while plumping and hydrating it. I also wanted my skin to radiate and glow, so I had high demands, and I wanted it all in one bottle. However, as I conducted my research, I noticed that people had been using plant-based oils for thousands of years. If Cleopatra used castor oil on her skin, I was going to do the same. And if orange oil called Neroli, named after the 17th century Princess of Nerola, Italy, who used it on her skin for its regenerative qualities, was available, then it was going in my formula. If the most beautiful beings in the world have used these essential oils, then I am going to use all of them.”"When I began my quest for the perfect serum, I knew I wanted to create a chemical-free, plant-based face serum. I started using the botanical face serum myself and was stunned by the results. The feedback I received from those around me was also incredibly positive. I began creating small batches of the product for my friends and it was a huge success. After numerous iterations of the formula and branding, I settled on the name Visual History Botanical Face Serum, as the oils used in it have been utilized for thousands of years with proven effectiveness. Why put a product through rigorous testing when it has already stood the test of time?

The name has an interesting origin story, but what surprised me was the question it raised when applied to oneself - what is my visual history and what story do the lines on my face tell? Our own visual history defines us and makes us unique, and it's what makes us beautiful. The lines on our face, whether it's a furrowed brow or crows feet, tell a story of our life experiences, our worries, our joys, and our laughter. These are beautiful attributes that we should cherish, and I'm grateful that the brand can capture the essence of both the heritage of the oils and the heritage of our own lives that are etched into our faces.

And why Milan? My family moved to Milan for a year  and we hope to return soon!
